FS1 is muting the crowd then. It sounds like horsefeathers on tv This comes up a lot every year in the hockey playoffs. The crowd noise you hear on TV is entirely a result of production decisions and mic placement. You can never really tell what a crowd is like watching on TV. true. I don't get it. I'd rather listen to a rowdy crowd than announcers. It's more immersive.
