  1. How many 5 or more game winning streaks have we had this year? It seems like every other week we have one.
  2. Upper-deck to the deepest left-center in the majors. It would have been out in any stadium in the league, easily It might have been out of any stadium easily :)
  3. It was upper deck above that deep triangle area in left field.
  4. Soriano's home run will be arriving in LA at about the same time the Cubs will be.
  5. I thought for a moment we were going to have a Barrett trying to do way to much play, which would have resulted in a throw to center field, on the wild pitch. He seems to be in one of his moods where he would do that.
  6. I know he sucked to start the year last year, but I like Scott Eyre (this is going to come back and bite me when he blow this three run lead)
  7. I hope the Cubs make you become the World's Strongest man
  8. that was really close. Riots got a Fukueye on that one.
  9. Maybe we could start Hoff on Sunday. Couldn't be worse than Marquis. Soto will pitch to himself. The only question will be perfect game or merciful no hitter
  10. His ERA is over 5. That's ridiculously awful. I've seen worse
  11. How does Marquis manage to not have a ridiculously awful ERA, he must be the luckiest pitcher in baseball.
  12. I'd prefer half-strength swings. C'mon you know theres a difference between a fast uppercut swing and a regular swing. I really don't think most major-league hitters have different swings. It's hard enough to hit a freaking baseball without trying out a bunch of different swings. Maybe an outside pitch swing and an inside pitch swing, but that's about it. So you're the Cubs fan who has never seen Aramis Ramirez bat. Check him out sometime. Or Sosa, he used to swing as hard as he could and you could see him pull his eyes off the ball. It drove me nuts. Take the good with the bad. Aramis is better about shortening it up when he needs to... most of the time anyways. I loved Sosa. I just am an emotional pitch to pitch living Cubs fan.
  13. I still hate Todd Hundley more than any other Cub
  14. I'm watching him right now. They all look the same to me. It never ceases to amaze me how little some peopl actually see when watching a game. Nor does it amaze me how much people see beyond what is actually happening. It you dont think hitters shorten their swings, push the ball, swing for contact, etc... you have no idea what youre talking about Cal Ripken had many different batting stances.
