    2nd and 3rd, no outs - 1.94969 runs Bases juiced, no outs - 2.13804 So the chances are you'll score more runs, what are the percentages that you'll score one run in each situation. I also wonder how those stats reflect second and third that turn into bases loaded with a walk. Now I run the risk of sounding stupid because I don't understand stats that well

    Hmm. I thought Pat Hughes was with the Cubs in 2001 when they had a 5+ game lead before the AS Break ? I think Pat has been with the Cubs since 97. I remember listening to him in 98 because Pat and Ron are one of the reasons that the Cubs became my sole favorite team. I am also pretty sure we had some pretty big leads in 2001 and am about 99% sure that there were times when we had a bigger than 4.5 game lead

    If were going to play one of our worst games of the year and still only be down two against one of the best teams in baseball, I'll take it.

    I'm confused. Everyone seems to think tomorrow's game is cancelled but I checked Cubs.com and it still says it's on. Interesting... Hell, they called today's game too. They're out playing us. Sometimes you have to accept the fact. If we can come back, super, if not, hope the Royals and Blow Jays can halp us out. Better luck next series sure sounds better than better luck next year. It's such a sad commentary that you are already calling this series a sweep. Especially when we can still win the series

    I would if he wasn't that good. He's more like a wasp. People like Eckstein are knats. If their current young major leaguers continue doing well and their current minor leaguers live up to expectations then they should have a swarm of wasps. I really love watching this Rays team play. I don't like it when they are playing th Cubs.
