  1. Is that sarcasm? I thought I read today he was 6-1 with a mid-3.00's ERA there. I guess I have that game in 03 where Bay took him deep about 900 times in the first game of a double header.
  2. Why does Z always suck at Pittsburgh.
  3. I would assume so. The double would have at least score Morgan from second and McClouth may have come around from first. And if he didn't, he would have scored on Moss' blooper. I though wild pitches and passed balls were earned anyways. I could be wrong though.
  4. Did that ball hit the ground or did the catcher drop it? I turned my head.
  5. He's taking pitches and hitting the ball hard. This could be dangerous for the opposition.
  6. That Bob and Tom commercial makes me want to strangle a puppy.
  7. How many homers does Z hit tonight?
  8. and depressing to know that if we go 2-3 in the first round of the playoffs, the season is over. no kidding...all playoff series should be 7 games. You guys are making me nervous and it's not even September yet. I've been nervous the whole season! Its a Cub fan thing. We could be up by 5 in game 7 of the World Series with nobody on, 2 outs and 2 strikes and be thinking now how will we blow this one. I won't believe it until the final out is recorded and I'm drunk from all the celebrating. Actually, maybe not until the next day when I wake up with the most massive hangover ever. I'm scarred that way. Give me a break I can't help it. I'll be reading the paper all week waiting to see if Bud Selig nullified the win yet.
  9. The 6-5 loss was the game where Soriano dropped the routine fly ball in the 9th with 2 outs. Ugh There are 3 games this year that I'm convinced we should have won. That one, the Cardinals game on the 4th of July when Wood blew a 2 run save, and the Brewers game in May where Wood blew a 2 run save. Of course there are some games that we should have lost, but let's ignore that and pretend that the Cubs record could have been 84-47 right now with a few bounces. Didn't Wood blow a 2 run save against the Brewers earlier this year as well?
  10. No matter the result this will be my most memorable year in the history of my sportswatching life.
  11. Lilly was swinging for the fences that first AB and lol on the single. He had some good rips that AB.
  12. They looked overconfident the first 4 games of the home stand and it looks like they are playing with a chip on their shoulder on the road.
  13. Quick somebody check him for PED's  I thought that was going to go for a second.
  14. You'd think the Nationals haven't beaten a Major League Baseball team this year.
