Every Hawkeye fan could have coached that game better. That was the worst display of coaching I have ever seen in a sporting event in my life. It seemed like Ferentz was willing to lose that game to make a point (that Stanzi should have knelt to end the half) and there is no excuse for that.

I have faith in everyone but Marquis to start in the playoffs and I wouldn't mind Marquis for one inning in the 5th or 6th if necessary (maybe when Harden has a short start).

That would suck if it mattered. I'm hoping the Brewers win now if not at the very least to keep all the playoffs teams playing until the end. It's looking really good for us today. It looks like the offense is buting out today (of course the Cards D has helped a lot.)

Not good. It's looking like a first round date with Cole Hamels and the Phillies is inevitable. If the Mets hold on against ATL they'll have a 1 game lead in the loss collumn and also hold the tie breaker, essentially giving them a 2 game lead. Between Moyer and Hamels (lefties who throw good change ups) the Phillies scare the crap out of me. -
