I think he can excel on the defensive end with a little work. I don't see him doing anything offensively though.

The Knicks losing probably hurts us more than anything (yes, I'm living in the pipe dream that we can catch Boston) but I'm really glad the Celtics won. I've never really had the hatred of the Knicks like some. I wasn't that big of a fan during the Jordan years and the Knicks have sucked the last 10 years or so but now I can't stand them for some reason.

That's pretty much my thought. I'm kind of thinking Thibs is a good defensive coach and Asik isn't a bad defender so hopefully that can help us hold some ground. At least against the poorer teams. What does suck is it's going to be really hard to beat Orlando or Boston (not sure if we play them in the next 10 weeks or not) without Noah. It was hard enough with him.

I'm just not that worried about the injury as maybe I should be. Maybe it's the win streak or maybe it's the schedule coming up but we'll be just fine. The way I see it now is Noah will have more energy to bring for the playoffs now. We've been playing just fine lately and Noah hasn't really played all that great since Boozer came back really. Asik getting a lot of minute would not be fun though.

This. It's comparable to Lebron leaving Cleveland. Him going to us may be worse because we're their arch rival. Except Pujols already got them a ring, so it won't sting quite as bad for them. and it's not basketball where once guy can so plainly swing a team. so it would be nothing like lebron. You're giving the St. Louis fan base a little too much credit for logical thinking. -
Boy, I can't wait to face them with Matt Flynn. Fun for the whole family. If your family is full of Patriots fans than absolutely.

He lost his all pro Tight end. His 1200 yard rusher. Driver has been battling injuries as well, and today he lost his all pro QB. He does struggle at times at play calling but come on. We have lost way more close games than we have won with him. At some point that's on him and at some point it's time for a change. One more thing, struggling at playcalling at times is a huuuuuuuuge deal when you are the primary play caller. Especially when every game is decided by such a small score.

I'm done with McCarthy. I'm sick of all the close losses. You try to force the run when you can't do it early keeping the game close. Than Rodgers gets hurt trying to make a play and that costs you a game vs the Lions which will probably keep you out of the playoffs.

Jordy Nelson's stomach jumped on that one. I'm sure he'd be thrilled to be the QB.

Flynn has a little talent. I think he is capable of getting one against the Lions secondary. We just have to block for him.

He's putting way too much faith in the defense I think. That's why we were running so much in the first half and now risking not taking a time out anticipating a close game. Basically we are playing down to the competition and it has already cost us Rodgers.
