And I don't care that they're 11-2 in conference, they still need to do something to belong a tourney berth (even with a horrendous bubble) Like I said last week, there are 9 Big Ten teams with better tournament resumes than Alabama. My rule is that anyone who loses to Iowa should not be in the tournament.

It tells me they don't give a [expletive] when they play bad/average teams on the road. It's annoying and will cost them the number 1 or 2 seed most likely but there are worse things that could happen.

We're way deeper and they don't play defense. I don't see how the Bulls wouldn't win that series however it's still not a match up I want even though it's likely and an early round exit would suck considering the entire NBA season is pretty much anticipation for the playoffs when you are an upper level team.

The top 6 teams in the East are going to be pretty good. The Eastern conference playoffs should be very good.

This thread just made me ridiculously ready for baseball. I can't believe it's almost a month away now.

My biggest issue with it now is all the missed dunks. You know what MJ, Vince, and Nique great? They all did it on the first try. That and they didn't need a thousand props to catch an alleyoop and dunk it with two hands. Oh and I hate Kenny Smith. the degree of difficulty on some of those dunks is so off the charts now that a couple of misses per attempt is pretty much going to be a staple That's the way I feel. If you are one and done you will pretty much see dunks that have already been done however, if the contestants take chances doing dunks that haven't been seen than it will take a few chances for them to convert and it's anti-climatic.

I really can't blame scalpers for wanting to make easy money, but I philosophically agree with your statement. I know a lot of people who buy tickets only to re-sell them, but I personally would feel a little shady making a large profit at someone else's expense. At someone else's expense? It's not like a baseball game is life and death. It's entertainment. I don't understand people getting upset about scalping. And I've personally never scalped. To me, going to the event is worth more than the money made from it but I don't understand getting angry about people who don't feel this way.

I'm waiting for you guys to help us hit rock bottom. I don't see how this Iowa team win in a place like Champaign. Illinois is struggling but they aren't losing at home to Iowa. I could see Iowa beating them in Iowa City if they played now.

I still think the Lakers are coasting and will be fine in the playoffs. They still have one of the best records in the league. Boston is the best team in the league though. I don't think anyone beats them in a 7 game series.

I honestly can't believe how close it is to baseball season. I honestly can't believe how much I miss it. Despite how shitty Cubs were the year before and how shitty they probably will be next year I still miss it.

I don't understand the thought process of "if the White Sox win so many titles than it will be a Sox town" fans don't just switch teams. Sure you have bandwagon fans that will do so but people who are actual fans don't just leave their team and even if they did I would doubt that they would switch the other team in the city, especially when Cubs and Sox fans aren't exactly on friendly terms. That and as other people have said, the popularity of the Cubs has nothing to do with winning. Considering the fact that they are popular and they never freaking win.

They are saying on ESPN that the Bulls aren't a legit title team. Why? They aren't a favorite but I wouldn't consider it to be a great shock if they did.

I'll admit I got all pissy because I wanted LeBron to go to the Bulls and at the time I thought it would turn Miami into an unstoppable dynasty (it still could) in an artificial way making the NBA less watchable. Looking back, LeBron going to the Bulls would have built a similar type all star team (although we drafted Rose and Noah) and I admit, "the decision" helped make me more of an NBA fan than I've ever been. Was the decision douchey? Sure, do I care and does it make me hate LeBron more. Not really, I've never rooted for him because the Bulls are in the same division as the Cavs and considering the fact that his whole life has been a show why wouldn't his free agency decision be one? I've always had an irrational desire to see him whiff on a title (no way he does) because of the hype he had coming into the league.

College baseball starts next Friday I believe. Any baseball starting is a good thing.
