White Sox fans do suck. I don't have anything against the franchise but their fans are pretty bad. Luckily, I no longer know any. I just see their posts on facebook.

And they don't even need a jumbotron telling them when to "MAKE SOME NOISE!" 4 run comeback that featured a crushed homer by the home team against the first place team in the Central. It's been a good baseball game. If I was there I'd be making noise too.

30 for Soriano for the first time since '07. Didn't think he had that in him anymore. Good for him. Kind of wish he could be on our next good team but it's not very likely.

I think Kelly is going to get them back to their glory days. If he can build the offense that he had at Cincinnati than look out. I kind of think that will happen too, Goulson doesn't look bad and he's young too.

When did the Padres become a decent baseball team? Last I knew they were battling us for a top 5 pick. Now they are 6 games under .500 and 7 games out of the Wild Card. Not that there is enough time for them to win a playoff spot or anything (it could happen with the way the top half of the the Wild Card is playing) but still.

Nice to win but I still don't think the Packers are championship quality (need to see them play good defense consistently), plus Rodgers has played three mediocre to crappy games against good defenses. Cutler and the Bears line have had games in the past where they look like crap and then they still compete for the playoffs/win the division. I don't see how it will be different this year.

NFL.com has been showing everything but kickoffs. Don't know if it's connected to cable company or what but I've been watching it there. It claims to be live look in but they've showed nearly everyplay.

I don't have much confidence in this one. Marshall destroyed us when he played for Miami, the year when Green Bay had a good defense and won a Super Bowl. I have to imagine that one a good team, with a good QB against an awful defense, he will do the same. Green Bay better figure out how to score or they are going to get dominated at home for a third straight time. That said, Bears fans confidence and my lack of confidence in this game would make a win more sweet. :D

I'm not really a traditionalist (anymore) but I kind of liked when the two leagues never played until the World Series (or the All-Star game if you want to count that). Then again, this is kind of unique and cool too. Maybe I just like baseball. I do with the leagues had the same rules now though.

I used to post on that message board back in 07 I think. A lot of posters there were pretty level headed and at times had some Cub fan level fatalism which is strange because it is a much more successful franchise than the Cubs though I suppose every message board has that element to it. People can a little crazy when it comes to something they care about that is completely out of their control. I'm sure discussion on Green Bay Packers message boards is fascinating though.

Does Gruden have to call everyone "a football player"? I mean they are, but considering that's obvious, since I'm watching football, he really doesn't need to say it all the time.

They were about 3:1 favorites. Yes, that's a significant upset. Meh, I think it sells the Niners short and overrates the Packers. I don't really care though.
