    I really don't like this BS the NHL is trying to pull. Basically they "warned the benches" before the games about the scrums/fights. So the REFS are going to "try to send a message" by only sending one person to the box in these scrums. That's an AWFUL decision, what a bad idea.

    Nah.... Avery was a [expletive] idiot there... inexcusable penalty. I can't even stick up for him for that... you can't highstick someone being up 2-1 in the playoffs with 3 minutes left. the high stick was a pretty weak call to make at that point in the 3rd. capitals did a good of selling both calls though. The "roughing" penalty was bogus. I think the high stick call was legit... this coming from someone who hates the refs and is a HUGE Avery apologist. He almost cost his team the game late in the 3rd.
