    I've been waiting so long for this, no one can imagine how excited I am to see the Hawks potentially win a playoff series! But you guys know the track record in games that Cyno is excited about :( I tried my hardest not to be... but seriously... GO HAWKS!!! 23 minutes left!

    Brashear has a reputation similar to Avery where he's going to get punished based on his reputation alone. Brashear has been a piece of [expletive] cheap shot artist all his life... he didn't get suspended 6 games just for the hit on Betts... he also got 3 games for the pre-game altercation I believe. However, Avery doesn't cheap shot and intentionally try to injure people.

    Yeah, April Cubs game vs. dominant pitcher with crappy lineup vs. Blackhawks potential series clinching game is a no brainer. Well hopefully in a few weeks I'll be able to care about the Cubs :-D Seems like so far I haven't really been interested in ANY game. Really weird for me, usually April is baseball time and NOT hockey time.

    Wow... Today was SWAMPED at work... I just looked at the clock and realized it was almost 6:45, I thought it was like 4:00. Oh well, guess by the time I get home it will only be an hour to game time! Haven't had a chance to read all the posts in this thread yet... guess I will when I get home. GO HAWKS!

    good call what a bold stance to take, questioning his half-assed prediction after it's been proven wrong... it was a dumb prediction. the rangers had a 3-2 lead but barely hung on to win a game in NY, got completely outplayed in game 5 and seem to be a mess. a role player who has been ineffective all series is going to turn the team around? come on. Oh sorry... should have been less optimistic and said, "After Avery's benching he's going to come out and play a great game". Which he did.

    God I love game days! Makes work go by so much faster. I really hope after tonight that I don't have to watch another Hawks game til late this weekend! Make it so!
