  1. Hahahaha Z looks like he's about to kill someone. Don't know why Lou doesn't just get him out of there now... This game is ABOUT out of reach. EDIT: NEVERMIND :)
  2. How many does K-Zone miss? Or do camera angles affect a computer simulated RULEBOOK strikezone? What's the margin of error on K-zone? Honestly, I'm asking. A lot more accurate than umpires.

  4. Chances are, if you actually read the gamethreads instead of just nitpick... you'd realize I call it on the other team too.
  5. Being a manager and being an umpire are two completely different things. You can't compare them since, obviously, there are way more things that go into being a manager than being an umpire. So why doesn't a defense of "he's a professional" work for managers? It's easier to see when an umpire screwed up. You can even watch it from multiple angles and in slow motion, something that doesn't work for managers and wouldn't help them anyway. How do you know that umpires aren't getting punished? Look at the NFL. Refs get graded down all the time for making incorrect calls but only the ref in the San Diego-Denver game getting graded down made news. And I'm sure umpires miss calls sometimes. I'm not arguing that they're perfect. What I am saying is they've got a much, much better grasp of the strike zone than some kid watching on TV posting on the internet. So why is some kid posting on an internet forum not realizing that the umpires have been terrible this year? PROTIP: Look at K-zone, or multiple angle replays, or hitter, or manager reactions.
  6. You do realize that the camera being off center affects your ability to see the exact strike zone, right? i'm guessing that his cub homerism plays a larger role in his inability to see the strike zone. Oh man, looks like we got 2 of them here... LOL... Let me guess... those pitches to Edmonds they just replayed weren't balls, right? The ump got those both right..... 3-4 inches out of the strike zone? Oh wait... they looked 4 inches outside of the strikezone on TV too... isn't that weird?
  7. You do realize that the camera being off center affects your ability to see the exact strike zone, right? You do realize that being off center doesn't affect the height of the pitch as it relates to the hitter? You do also realize 4 inches below the knees isn't a strike, right? Obviously not.
  8. Maybe it's not the umps... Or.... it.... definitely...... is....... Think about it. Who's more likely to be seeing the strikezone correctly, a bunch of professional umpires standing right behind the plate or some kid on a message board who is watching on TV with a centerfield camera positioned off-center? I wonder. Are you serious? Nope. I'll trust Cynosure to tell me how well the umps are calling the strikezone rather than, you know, trusting the professionals. Just leave him alone, Mizzou... someone wizzed in his Cheerios this morning so he's a bit bitter. I haven't eaten yet today. I wouldn't eat either if someone urinated in my cereal.
  9. Yea soccer... but you're missing the point... off center camera or not, these are terribly blatant missed calls. If you can't see it, let me know what drugs you're on, because I want some.

  11. Obviously that call Wainwright just got on Theriot wasn't the same pitch Zambrano threw to Kennedy... and it was called different things.... WHAT DO I KNOW THOUGH, IM JUST A KID WATCHING ON TV AND KNOW THE REAL STRIKE ZONE
  12. Soriano singles to left field. Man on 1st, no outs.

  14. Wainwright strikes out (1). INNING OVER Cardinals lead 5-0
  15. Miles grounds out to Lee at first base. None on, 2 outs.
  16. Maybe it's not the umps... Or.... it.... definitely...... is.......
  17. Kennedy hits a grandslam to left field. None on, 1 out. Cardinals lead 5-0.
  18. Glaus flies out to Edmonds in center field, runners hold. BASES LOADED, 1 out.
  19. THIS UMPIRE SUCKS... what the hell? Seriously... I am saying this every day, these assclowns need to be disciplined.
  20. Lopez walks (1). Z already fired up and pissed at himself. BASES LOADED, no outs.
  21. Pujols singles on a line drive to left field. Schumaker scores. Man on 1st & 2nd, none out. Cardinals lead 1-0.
  22. Ludwick singles on a bloop to shallow center field. Man on 1st & 3rd, no outs.
  23. After giving up a one-out, two-run single to Tejada in the 5th, he retired the next two batters before leaving the game with elbow soreness. Alright, thank you very much. 29 outs without a hit, or... 9 2/3 Hit less innings... anyone know the record?
  24. Give him the same shot that Z got... I don't think the world is ready to see a 6 HR game...
  25. Can someone check the start before Carlos' no hitter and see how many outs he got before the end of the game without a hit, pretty please?
