Why is it great that Theriot is under .300? Because he hates Theriot. Don't hate him, just don't see him as a major league player, good numbers or not... I can't bring myself to like him because I'm stubborn. I've been telling everyone he won't hit .300 since the beginning of the year and didn't want to hear it from everyone. I hope he stays under .300 and then comes around and hits 1.000 in the playoffs. The playoffs are all that matters to me.

Yes. If the Cubs win, it doesn't matter what the Brewers do. If they lose, we clinch automatically. That's what I thought... But even Piniella didn't know how the Magic # worked, neither do these FOX idiots.

Wrigley sounds fired up today. If the Magic # is 1, why do the Cubs have to win AND the Brewers lose to clinch? If the Cubs just win, isn't the number ZERO and we clinch?

Well this reminds me of a couple years ago after prom when we all went to see the Cubs play the Brewers... It was 8-0 in the 2nd and we knew it was a loss so it was kind of entertaining to see how high they could go. Fatty hit 3 HR that game.
