    Akim Aliu traded back to Sudbury for a draft pick. (LFP Official Twitter) "He got benched prior to the Christmas break and hasn't responded properly (how shocking), I would bet his time is up as a Knight. The kid's got all the tools but is just a nightmare for coaches to deal with. People can change but Akim has been very stubborn for four years about changing his ways." --HFboards -------------------- Also, Kane out tonight with that ankle injury. Eager taking his spot on the 1st line. No offense to Eager, because I like him a lot... but... Why Eager?

    Oh... and before I forget. Since Crosby is such a tough guy now, I suggest everyone watch the Pens/Thrashers game on Tuesday to watch Boulton put that turd in his place. Wonder how many game's hes gonna get suspended for.

    I really would want a Grimson jersey, but we all know that wouldn't work for obvious reasons.

    It's pretty interesting with the Hawks. They're a young team, but they have some gawdy contracts. A lot of that is cleared up with Havlat and Khabi moving out, but Toews and Kane and even Keith are gonna need to get paid too. Kind of an interesting situation there. Cap is probably heading down either this year or next, too. So Sharp, despite having a contract, could be the odd man out. The Huet/Campbell signings kind of hamstrung the Hawks for the future. If they could ditch Huet and still keep a legit number 1 (how good is Niemi?), that would be the best solution, but probably the most unlikely as well. Niemi is awesome, I've been looking forward to him since he played in Finland (my old roomate was a huge fan of his in Helsinki)... and he's shown great promise in Rockford. However, Crawford has stepped up when Niemi has cooled off a bit. What about versteeg?

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bQxuLumWjio Just watched it... 2 things: 1) Crosby killed him. 2) Crosby is a [expletive] for just attacking him before he even had a chance to drop the gloves. ok... and 3) I still hate Crosby and think that was sort of cheap, but he is a pretty tough SOB.

    Going to Mokena tomorrow to redeem my Christmas present of an authentic Hawks jersey from Triple Threat Sports. I've been leaning towards either a Versteeg or Sharp jersey... My question to you hockey experts, because I don't know where to look or even understand the financial side of hockey, is this: How long do you think either player will be on the Hawks? I really want a Versteeg jersey but I am wondering what the chances are he is on the team long term?

    You really need to stop constantly complaining abut refs and now other things lol ill put it in green next time for you say what you want about the wind...playing the puck handler is the first play on defense. I didnt see who the Hawks had on but there right side should have been over since the Wings were getting support from the left. I think Olcyzk was being a little to nice to the defensemen on that play Hawks were aided by the wind in the 1st period, but am I gonna complain when it happens to my team? ;) It was a nice move and overall play by Datsyuk and the Wings.
