    Not really much to respond to here, pretty much everything I would say good or bad has been said. ------------------------------- So... onto tonight's game. There will be a fight within the first 5 minutes and whoever goes after Versteeg will get mauled by Wiz (MARK MY WORDS). Versteeg pots one and gets a helper or two and laughs in Turris' face. Gretzky gets so mad he runs onto the ice in a Piniellaesque tirade and slips and breaks his tailbone and needing help off the ice. Hawks win 8-1. Carcillo is out with a broken face, so we don't have to worry about him!

    Holy crap I log in for the first time today and there's a nice convo going, gonna read over it then post response.

    Lollll 4-0 and I think 9 PPs by the end of the game. Godard tried to start a fight with Orr with 2:30 left and he left his helmet on, what a [expletive]. Orr was destroying him til he hurt his hand in a haymaker to Godard.

    That was the right call. It's a flimsy rule and I don't like it, but his stick was in the midsection. Great save by Kipper before the break there. Well yea it was "hooking" but how often do you see something as puny as that be called hooking? Fraser always does this... and I know I complain about refs... but I truly... TRULY... hate Kerry Fraser. Pretty much every game, actually. KFraser will do something really stupid in this game, but that wasn't it. Maybe it's just me looking for that stupid Fraser call... but he almost let the Stars beat the Hawks earlier in the year, I couldn't believe it.

    Sucks getting in at the bottom of the page, doesn't it? ;) Well, I think the Hawks came out with some extra fire tonight. They're missing their point scorer and feel they have something to prove at home by beating an incredibly hot (no pun intened) Flames team. They have had excellent chances and have looked good all night. I think we CAN beat Detroit and SJ, we've come close 4/6 times we've played them collectively. We just had off days at the wrong times. I am not saying the Hawks are better than the Wings or Sharks, but if all cylinders are clicking come playoff time, it IS possible.

    Atta boy Fraser... already trying to hand the Flames the game. How was that hooking? He was just WAITING to call a penalty. AWESOME SAVE KHABI!!!!

    FIGHT Fraser vs. Giordano Stupid fight, they hugged... then hugged some more. Fraser got hit a few more times.

    They had a couple good chances earlier to make it at least 2-0. Good to see them coming out fiery after 2 tough losses.
