  1. That's what you get for trying to ride my coattails, broseph. I freaking hate soccer. I should have known better. I'm tempted to pick the Ducks tonight =( One thing I thought about though... the Ducks play the shitty trap, BUT they have only scored 1 goal in both games against the Hawks. I think after 6 games of rest and Dunc back the Hawks can score at least 3 (which should be enough). The wildcard rests on if Selanne is back tonight.
  2. Never playing soccer games or trusting Kujay EVARRRRRR again.
  3. I'd like to go on record as saying Tim Thomas is becoming my new favorite goalie. After his play at the ASG and watching the Bruins/Caps last night... it solidified by man crush on him. On top of that he's just a cool guy. I might have to change my team in the East from the Rangers to the Bruins!
  4. Thanks for your luck, Kujay. If any of you choose AGAINST the Blackhawks tomorrow night, I will castrate you. No really... choosing against the Blackhawks will probably be a good idea: The Blackhawks get raped by the trap and the Ducks are almost the best at it. I would encourage everyone to choose the Hawks and watch the game... but you might be bored out of your mind and see a 1-0 final score (oh wait that already happened). So pick your poison... the Hawks might win but you're gonna want to kill yourself with how boring it is. I'm done rambling... play the game and watch it. If you don't like hockey... don't watch it (it won't make you like it anymore thanks to the coward ass trap).
  5. Versteeg still out tomorrow... KEITH CLEARED TO RETURN! However, we will be trapped into boredom and lose 2-1.
  6. Well I picked the Longhorns and so did streak master Kujay... If it's a win yay for me... if it's a loss then Kujay is no longer perfect :-" :-"
  7. LOL Nets outscoring the Thunder 28-8 in the 4th and now down by 8... too little too late.
  8. I think I'm going to regret choosing Gordon for the 10:30 slate.
  9. And the Thunder are beating the Nets by 30... there's another loss.
  10. Saw a thread on HFBoards last night during the ASG about best anthems ever... made me do some research and present to you guys my favorite HOCKEY anthems for both countries, both give me chills every time. UNITED STATES Can't believe I was only 4 during the 91 all-star game... didn't understand the whole war thing but I remember watching this live. I give to you, the '91 All-Star game at Chicago Stadium: CANADA Not Canadian, not too fond of Canadiens ( ;) ) but this was absolutely amazing, rivals the '91 ASG even for a country that isn't my own. Check out the guy at :57...lol! EDIT: ALSO... (REPOST FROM MY HF BOARDS THREAD) Ok guys... I want you to list your top 16 teams (top 8 of each conference) of the 2nd half of the season. I don't care how they did in the first half overall. What teams will have the best record POST All-Star Break? WEST 1. San Jose 2. Detroit 3. Chicago 4. Calgary 5. Vancouver (Matt Sundin) 6. Anaheim 7. Phoenix 8. Dallas EAST 1. Washington 2. New Jersey (If Brodeur is back healthy) 3. Boston 4. Philadelphia 5. New York (Rangers) 6. Montreal 7. Penguins (Pains me to say this... but they WILL bounce back) 8. Buffalo OVERALL 1. San Jose 2. Detroit 3. Washington 4. New Jersey 5. Boston 6. Chicago 7. Calgary 8. Philadelphia 9. Vancouver 10. New York (Rangers)
  11. I don't think your streak really affects anything? I could be wrong though.
  12. Well..... it was the ASG... most of the time ASGs don't get both team's above double digits nor do they get to the SO... this ASG was actually really good.
  13. There's obviously a reason you're 5-21 right now. Coming in Minnesota was only 2.5 games worse than Chicago. Minnesota was also playing at home, had won 8 of 10 and three weeks ago won by 10 at Chicago. Yea, after starting 1-2 I started doing research before I chose my picks. If there had been no NHL ASG tonight, I was fully picking Minn and had no shame about it.
  14. that sucks... glad i didnt do my streak for the cash on them
  15. well [expletive] i turn on a sick game
  16. Mr. Kujay thinks he's special with his 3-0-0 =P Just wait, I'm about to start trying!
  17. So does the East get homeice advantage in the Stanley Cup Finals now ;-)? Would be fitting, wouldn't it? Especially after the farce 2008 MLB ASG.
  18. This and the 2008 MLB All-Star game has been [expletive] epic... this is great. What an NHL All-Star game.
  19. I hate you... I got my "over .500" riding on the East All-Stars scoring here.
