    So I got selected in the lottery. Does anyone know what time they send out the password email? My job blocks outside email sites so I won't be able to check my gmail account from work. I'm hoping they send it out before I leave (which is 7 am central time.)

    It seems like a waste of time to sit here and dissect the statistics, mull over the odds, and attempt to predict the outcome of the rest of this series. We all know a best-of-5 series is a crap shoot anyway, so why bother? We all know on paper we "should have" won this game, but we didn't. We play 162 games, prove that over the long run we're the best team in the league, and then we can piss it away in three games. Even The All-Century Team could have a series of three or four bad ballgames in a row. I really hate the playoffs. I also hate Alfonso Soriano, but that's another story.

    Driving up to Chicago tomorrow night for the game on Sunday. Will be sitting in the bleachers Sunday. May very well JUST MISS the clincher. Can't wait.

    What a fantastic game, especially after last night. There were more Cubs fans there than I think I've ever seen at GABP. If I'd have to guess, I'd say it was 70/30 Cubs/Reds, if not higher. The cheers for Soriano did not let up from the moment the 3rd homer left Soriano's bat until the first Red stepped into the batter's box the next inning. It was nice to see Marquis get the standing ovation when he left in the eighth, although the next eight runs weren't a whole lot of fun. My vocal cords are shredded, hopefully tomorrow's game makes me lose my voice completely. Go Cubs.
