    that was a pretty good performance of the stretch....I was impressed Golic did that good. Was funny watching there show this morning they were basically running out of the studio to catch the plane.

    Yes, because it has prevented guys like Braun, Dunn, and Soriano from playing big league baseball. I know the guy is a butcher in the field, but he will hit well enough to play no matter what. Gamel plays 3rd right? Well they got the queerest nickname guys bat there Russell the Muscle...oh I hate that!

    I like the signing alot too....really have nothing to lose. If he sucks then we dump him and bring back up Pie to watch him strikeout 1 out of every 3 abs.

    I got the Padres announcers through MLB xtra innings...whats with the announcer always saying that would be a double if he hits it whenever Soriano checks a swing or a pitch is thrown in the dirt?

    yes if there's anything the cubs need, it's to rush injured players back into the starting lineup in early may. I agree we dont need Lou starting to take after Yost! :shock:
