    Like others have said, the telecast didn't do a great job of showing the crowd yesterday. It was more active and louder than any other game I've been to until the 5th inning. After that, there was nothing else to cheer for except Rammy's double and the next 2 balls to Soto.

    Hey yall I just got back from the game. I picked up a bleacher ticket for 100 in section 305 at game time so I got lucky. But this is more about the song being played in the 8th. Why the hell did they play that? It just made me feel even more sick, giving the cubs the same image we've been tyring to get rid of. Also, Roast did you eject some drunk guy in a green shirt in the 9th? I thought it looked like you but wasn't sure.

    damnit, I keep on getting 2 tickets available in terrace outfield reserve but then when I enter the code and press continue, it just goes back to the tickets are unavailable crap.

    Z was scratched and Guzman will only go 2-3 regardless.     Cubs will probably send out a decent lineup tomorrow and then rest a few more guys on Sunday, so this game could be a fun one to watch. Let's see A Sheets pounding and an actual successful pen hold onto one tomorrow and give me a 2-0 record, Lilly a 17-9 record, and give us our 97th win of the season! Go Cubs!     The Cubs are great at doing that to us, aren't they? Why in the hell would you be stressed or angry right now. The season is over, we're Central champs and have homefield advantage throughout the NL playoffs. Because true Cubs fans live and die on every pitch... I do it too, knowing full well what you said. More like some, not true Cubs fans.

    I'm starting to agree with you a lot more these days! :lol: On a serious note, it's not going to happen and right now isn't the time either. Lee is basically the captain of the team and the offense has gelled all year long with Lee in the 3 hole. While he's had his slumps, there is no point in messing with the chemistry and what's been working all year. Calling for a platoo with Hoffpauir in any way you want to break it down is ridiculous and baseball people everywhere would laugh at that idea. But I already know what's going to happen to this thread. Someday soon Lee will have a big game with a few doubles and a homer and it's going to turn into another Alfonso Soriano April/May slump thread.
