  12. You may change your Bench Player(s) three times in the first half of the season and three times in the second half of the season. HOWEVER … there must be fourteen (14) days between bench player transactions. You have to choose which transaction you want now, and which one will activate in 2 weeks.

  14. @BaconRev is over for his roster, due to the error at 1B. I'm allowing him to edit his roster, because I was not around when he posted.
  15. We did not get as much interest as I would have hoped; especially across three forums, but I could understand people not knowing what this is about. I will not be deterred and keep on going - hopefully word of mouth will work for next season.
  16. NS = Northside Baseball BF = Brewer Fanatic TD = Twins Daily
  17. Happy (stateside) Opening Day! I am away today until late-afternoon/evening. When I get in front of a computer again, I will share everyone’s bench selections.
  18. ** REMINDER ** Deadline to submit rosters is Wednesday, March 26th at 11:59:59 PM Central Time. This is one night before MLB Opening Day. No entries will be accepted after the deadline. Any home runs hit during Tokyo WILL be added to your team's total, provided those players are on your roster.
  19. Getting my team officially official: Total: $750
  20. (( Reposting this here for those who missed it in the Events forum...)) Announcing the 2025 Home Run Derby! Hello and welcome to the official announcement for the 2025 Home Run Derby game that has been played over at Northside Baseball's Forum! If you’re reading this on NSBB, welcome back! If you’re reading this on Twins Daily or Brewers Fanatic - Hello and consider this your official invitation to play our 2025 Home Run Derby! If you are reading this as someone who played in the 2024 season, you might be asking yourself Didn’t you say you were retiring from running the game? Well you would be correct. I did announce that. Then immediately after the season ended, I realized that I already had the itch to get the next season’s data pulled together and update player transactions to their new teams. I’ve officially decided to return to the game I love to run and this is the announcement for the 2025 season. I also hear you asking Well, why did you retire in the first place? Another good question. Here’s the story: I want more participation! I want to get more players involved! That is when this game is at its most fun - because having just 10-11 players is not as fun when I was forced to use “ghost teams” just to get the scoreboard to 20 teams. This is where you come in! I am working with Brock Beauchamp to get the word out as much as we possibly can, in order to generate re(new)ed interest in this great and fun game. We are “crossing the streams” for this campaign, and we are opening up the participation to multiple forums. If you are reading this and you have not played before, it is a form of “fantasy baseball” but without the day-to-day need to check your roster. There are no fantasy points for statistical offense, with the exception of Home Runs, of course! To read up on everything about the Home Run Derby, you can visit this Wiki site here. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask me. I have been running this game since 2006-2007. I’m still in the process of updating the rules pages, along with the groups/tiers for the upcoming 2025 season. Entries Thread Discussions and Transactions Thread Deadline is in 9 days!
  21. Welcome to Year 19 of the Home Run Derby on NSBB - now featuring players from Brewer Fanatic and Twins Daily! Make sure to submit your entries in the 2025 Entries thread. Good luck to everyone, and LET'S GO!
  22. Hello everyone, and Welcome to the return of the Home Run Derby! This is the kick off thread for the 2025 HR Derby! This year, thanks to Brock, we are opening this game up to members of Brewer Fanatic and Twins Daily. Here is the link to our Wiki page for this game, and it has all the info you need to select your 2025 HR Derby team! Please be sure to use that Wiki for your player info, rules, and details. Be sure to come back here, to post your team entry to this thread. As a reminder, please send your three (3) bench players to me in a PM. If you have any questions - please ask in the Discussions thread. Please see the image for an example on how to post your team; making sure to include all the pertinent information.
  23. Fixed. Sorry about that.
