wow just our luck! in other news Hardy reaches 2nd on a fielding error 1 out, now braun flew out and prince fielder is up with 2 outs hardy on 2nd. last time you walked fielder kapler beat you, do you do it again?

Damn stayed away almost the entire at bat except the first couple pitches and then that last one. Hopefully they pull him next inning.... Anyone think they will with him at 101 pitches now? Or will he go the 8th to get through the 1,2,3 hitters?

Man I love Kosuke even if he doesn't get a hit he drives up the pitch count going to be at least a 10 pitch at bat, all our long at bats seem to end in outs though, maybe kosuke can change that please!

I agree especially after how everyone suspected we wouldn't even be leading at the All Star Break after the Orioles series, everyone was ready to relinquish the lead but the Cobs proved us wrong and are up 5.5 and 6, at the worst 4.5 and 5, I'll definitely take that

When Kosuke is out of the lineup the Cubs turn into free swingers, it seems like they never want to make the opposing pitcher work unless Kosuke sets an example first.

Well time to stop watching the Brewers/Reds and Cards/Pirates and hope the good guys both win them, hopefully TLR brings in Issringhausen again today.

Like I said Kapler will tie the game or give them the lead and he ties it with a double, prince fielder to fat to score from 1st.

Braun just missed a 2 run bomb. Bill Bray into relieve Homer Bailey, runner on 1st Fat Prince Fielder up to probably give the Brewers the lead

Nor are they meant to throw over the top like pitchers do, we need an underhand pitcher that can throw 90+ because he could pitch everyday than. I forgot what game it was but in the Womens College World Series some pitcher threw 173 pitches and pitched the next day.
