    This game just really killed me... the brawl, the Padres have to go to the bullpen in the 4th, Zambrano almost pitching a no hitter, Russell Branyan with a one-handed HR on a pitch on the outside corner at the knees... ugh and the umpire's shrinking strike zone towards the end of the game ticked me off as well. consistency plz

    I have to admit that I was a bit (well maybe more than a bit) ignorant when I first joined the board. I remember having an discussion with a couple people about Kerry Wood where I argued that Wood wasn't that great because he never got 15 wins a season. I was like a child that wandered into the middle of a movie. But I have seen the error in my ways and now I would never dare make that argument. I actually went back and read some of my early posts. Boy were some of them stupid. I almost slapped myself for some of them. Was that a Big Lebowski reference I just caught? Nice.
