  1. Shin Soo Choo of Cleveland Indians is the first Asian-born player in MLB history to reach that 20(HR)-20(SB) mark today.
  2. No more walks to leadoff guy. I'm sick of it. Otherwise, we didn't grt single walk from Danks.
  3. Pathetic . Two innings in a row with no out situations. No runs!!!!! :twisted:
  4. I can't believe why it's so differnt hitters compare to last year .... :?
  5. I don't know but here is info. http://seattletimes.nwsource.com/html/mariners/2008201525_maribuild250.html
  6. =D> =D> =D> Nice throw.. Soriano!!!!!!! =D> =D>
  7. YES!! Go CUBS~~~~~~~ =D>
  8. What a play//// 2 out
  9. Samardzija what are you doing?
  10. I herad that he signed with cubs on Aug 2nd. He's a Busan high school student. According his coaches, he still has difficulties on curve balls and in consistency with locating the balls but he has relatively good fastball like Chan Ho Park, Dodgers was. I think that if he learned systematically from good coaches, I think he has possibility. http://www.donga.com/photo/news/200803/200803210375.jpg Photo was taken on Mar 21st,2008 when Jung was played in high school baseball tournament
  11. Maybe not the worst but if Bavasi check Choo's OPS in last 30 days(5th place 1.173 )and last 7 days( 1st place 1.794), he would scraching his head. The worst acquisiton? We'll see. Hey rook, nice to see you on again! Have you had a chance to see that young SS the Cubs just signed play? I forgot to tell you as for scouting other two players. Recently cubs has just signed with two young Korean players in here. I'm sure that they'll get medicall test soon. 1. Soo Min, Jung - Pitcher. 186cm, 86kg ,Right hand pitcher. Mid 140 km/h . 2. Jae Hoon, Ha - OF. R/R, 181cm, 78kg Those two players are same age 18. So, cubs signed with 3 young players already. Quite aggressive scout.

Hey rook, nice to see you on again! Have you had a chance to see that young SS the Cubs just signed play? Hi! CuseCubFan69 , Yes I did. His name is Hak Joo, Lee( RThrow/L hitter, Agent: Chi Hoon Lee-former agent of Hee Seop Choi, ).He's a quite tall guy as a SS in here 187 cm, Weight 77kg. He has good speed to reaching the fisrt base and foot work as a SS. He once played as a pither/SS in middle school so, he has good shoulder too. All I can get his data is in high school championship series (27 G, 94AB, 32H,9RBI,17R,0.340 AVG). I heard that cubs scouter(If I,m correct,he was Steeve Willson)want his speed and good throwing arms to become a leadoff hitter as a SS not a power hitter. I can tell you that he's fast guy( data shows that 11 seconds to reach 100m & 4 seconds to first bsse from the homeplate) and good arms. It's depends on his stroke ability to survive in the minors http://c2image.channel2.co.kr/C2_IMAGE/ARTICLE/ATL_1839/183943_PG1_101.jpg http://img.hani.co.kr/imgdb/resize/2008/0424/05078513_20080424.JPG

  16. Go Cubs~~~ Wrigley is something this year.
  17. Nope. I'm just one guy yelling on Cubs winning games and Cards losing game.
  18. Yes Fukudome..Cards still 2-1 in 9th
  19. :lol: Hi ! soapy . Good to see you again. :stickman:
  20. I sort out some numbers BA,OBP,SLG,OPS among 500 major players who has minimum 50 PA(reason is that Choo also had little AB due to he joined 31st,May from rehab). I tried to sort the numbers from 14AB Murton has but minimum was 25 plate appearances so I couldn't. Original msg said if soriano out more than 6 weeks, so I thought choo could be options if possible comparing with his ages and salary. But I think that you could figure out the difference at least in 2008. If Murton produce the same amount, then I'll buy that.
