    Psssh, I remember that year you were a Hawks fan, and then when they sucked you switched to being a Flyers fan. Now the Flyers suck so you pretend hockey doesn't exist? I "followed" the Flyers because the girl I was dating at the time was a big time Flyers fan. I have not even attempted to follow hockey since like... 2008? OK, at least you were doing it for the right reasons. You are forgiven. To date, it still might be the worst thing I've ever done for love.

    well, yeah. that's a way different thing. It was definitely hitting me yesterday that the "Rizzo, Castro, who cares for two innings" lineup is past. It's definitely still weird for me. Bryant will probably make it downright bizarre.

    After treating Jason Marquis the way he was supposed to be, the Cubs run up against a pretty great pitcher they almost signed. Hopefully they can treat him like he's Jason Marquis, too. These Padres look pretty tough to me, but I think it is well within the Cubs ability to take their third straight series.
