  1. I think that was a record 8 seconds on the bandwagon. Now I can't tell if you're joking as well.
  2. Nevermind, I hate this team now anyway. They make it to the second round of the playoffs at best.
  3. I don't understand why people have an issue with people talking about Rose and his game. The Bulls are awesome, and we all enjoy it (the Bulls fans anyways), and we all love Derrick Rose and want him to be the best player ever. Since he is our superstar, and will be our superstar for the next 10 years at least, we are going to discuss him outside of the context of the team's performance. Over the next 10 years, the Bulls will be good the Bulls might be bad, but one thing will remain constant during those years (most likely), Derrick Rose. So it makes sense that we can enjoy the Bulls season, and enjoy/complain/evaluate/discuss Rose on a separate plane. Doesn't mean that the Bulls winning isn't the most important thing. I have no problem with legitimate criticisms of Rose (plenty of which have been made here). I'm not here trying to say that no one should say negative things about the guy. What I personally find annoying is how that stuff makes up what feels like the last 10-20 pages of this thread.
  4. I can't believe they left him in. That's hilarious. 8 R, 5 ER. Beautiful. Bye, Carlos. Fun stat: 11 hits in 26 pitches.
  5. Congratulations to Andrew Cashner on making the 2011 Chicago Cubs Opening Day starting rotation.
  6. Given the fact that Starlin has 4 HR already, some of you may have wondered who has the most homers this Spring. The answer? Jake Fox with 7 for Baltimore.
  7. Seriously, this guy is DONE.
  8. What are the chances Barney wins the designation of primary 2B? EDIT: Starlin Castro - Power hitter.
  9. Make that .306. He's almost TOO good.
  10. Pena is actually up to .286. Wow.
  11. Yeah, that's not true. There's plenty of sites that do that. It's the internet. If it wasn't full of cynics, it wouldn't be nearly as fun. Wait, there's fun being had? Here?
  12. Only on NSBB could a thread covering a team's most successful season in over a decade be filled with statistical arguing/trolling regarding the team's best player and comments about they win ugly.
  13. Bulls have really made their road #'s respectable over the last month. Nice to see another solid defensive effort sans Boozer. Other Notes: Props to Asik for his monster game and first career double-double. Gotta love that bench. Bulls have now won 8 in a row. That is the first time since 2005.
  14. Well speaking strictly from personal experience, New Jersey does tend to have a depressive, soul-sucking influence over outsiders. So it could be that.
  15. ughhhhhhhhhh
  16. In other news, Geovany Soto.
  17. Any particular reason? Today's lineup puts potentially the 3 worst OPS players 1-2-3 in the lineup. Would you really have a problem with Castro in the 2 spot? I'm more pleased with the structure of the middle of the lineup than anything.
  18. Could today's lineup please be the actual lineup?
  19. The cuts for 3/15, per Rotoworld:
  20. Also I'm rather intrigued by how Vitters has carried himself so far this Spring. Also, Stevens is quietly having a very solid showing.
  21. I would LOVE to hear the reasoning for Hill earning a spot over Castillo.
  22. Really not digging Andy's K/BB ratio. :(
  23. Oh man that makes me want to hit something it's so annoying.
  24. In other news, Koyie Hill is still likely to retain his job.
