All we're saying is that those that are bent out of shape about a less than 24 hour delay come off as a bit silly, when there's been no trade rejection. Athletes in control of where and when they want to be traded/signed is the new norm, especially in the age of Twitter. Dempster, if anything, is handling this much better than some other high profile trades that have been attempted in major sports recently.
