  1. I'm really starting to think Sullivan is drunk, you guys.
  2. You are FAST. So what the hell does that mean? See earlier comment.
  3. In other news, Paul Sullivan has apparently decided to just give up and start hitting the booze:
  4. Juicy. http://www.suntimes.com/sports/baseball/cubs/14088559-573/ryan-dempsters-trade-saga-is-all-about-time-or-lack-thereof.html
  5. Lake starts his DH with a RBI double
  6. Thanks for sharing. That's a fairly encouraging report.
  7. Alex Meyer is better than whatever the Dodgers are reportedly offering I agree, and can't see them parting with him for Dempster. I don't see Nationals as a fit at all unless he's on the table. It'd definitely be an all-in move for them and would hamper the Dodgers and Braves.
  8. Frankly, a lot of media types are really kind of dickish on twitter though. If you can find one that even comes close to him, I'd love to see it. Well right now scrolling back through my feed doesn't help much, because Goldstein won't shut the hell up. My problem is less with his attitude and more with the sheer volume of it. It'd be tolerable in smaller doses. Oh I totally agree with this and the above tweet. If he didn't know so much about player development, I'd have unfollowed him ages ago. I just can't imagine anyone coming near to the volume and tone he does.

  10. As opposed to normal? At least he's a subject matter expert when it comes to prospects, I can take that as part of his charm. He starts talking about transactions and it gets truly unbearable. I've never found his endless condescension to meatheads on twitter particularly charming but fair enough. It's actually quite weird because he seems like a much nicer guy on his podcast.
  11. You did it again... :x oh that's what he does man. He's in my head bigtime at this point. I look to make sure he's not in the thread, before I try posting an update. Then I rush it, make typos, and usually give up. It's teh internets version of Steve Sax disease. At least I wasn't the heartless person that sniped you on your own tweet. That was amazing.
  12. Ken Rosenthal @Ken_Rosenthal Source: Soriano remains part of discussions between #Dodgers and #Cubs involving Dempster.
