  1. While he certainly doesn't have the sexiest K/BB rate in the world, I wonder if Scott could get moved up to Peoria this season.
  2. They actually have a pretty legit monsoon season.
  3. That sucks they get postponed more than Daytona lately. Another dust storm? Rain according to Dunston
  4. uh - I believe you missed at least three uses of floyd, including the climactic scene lighting the flame. I stopped watching during the march of nations or whatever. kids went to bed and we're watching the rest tomorrow. So you decided to rant about them not using a band before hearing all of the music they played?
  5. Brian Price has passed his physical
  6. That was #11 and apparently left the park.
  7. Volstad with 7 scoreless? What the hell is going on!?
  8. The Rangers' sights are set a lot higher than Dempster, and they have the ammo to get it done. If the Cubs have any chance at getting some of their talent, it'll be for Garza, which looks doubtful at this point. Garza could still be in play. Teams know what he is and the medicals are no big deal on him. A small amount of fluid in a muscle. Its not a shoulder or an elbow. If a team is motivated enough and their doctors clear him, Garza could still go. What will keep him on the team is if teams want some sort of noticeable discount because he had a cramp in his last start. Also, I'm sure the team could have a doctor examine Garza if they were that worried, no?
  9. Whitenack with what I believe is his best start to date. 5 IP, 2 H, 0 R, 3 BB, 4 K
  10. Vitters leads off the tenth with a BB
  11. Almora with an RBI double and Soler with a walk.
  12. Baez is 2-2 with a sac fly and another HBP
  13. Nothing like another 3K night!
