Yes because the only 2 ways you can feel about the team is 'ahhh everything sucks, we will never win again, we need 22 new starters on this team' or 'everything is fine, we're going to win the super bowl' That is true, I'm pretty sure that is the only 2 ways he can feel about the team. Are we even sure he's capable of the latter anymore?

Totally no cause for concern, you guys.

    =P~ He seems like a good target for 3B and makes sense the Padres might look to move him due to having Headley. He hit 30 HR between AA and AAA last year and had a .921 OPS combined between the two. Looks like he takes a decent amount of walks too. He's a pretty little guy though, baseball reference has him listed at 5'10" 195lbs. My friends in SD inform me the Pads most likely want him as their starting 2B next season. Well if Barney is going the other way...... I just don't see what the Cubs have that the Padres would really want, except maybe a Brett Jackson if they're a fan of his. Everything I've seen/heard has pointed to the Pads being fairly high on Gyorko.

    Agreed, you think they'd have interest in Wood? Granted the upside isn't there with Wood as there is in Delgado/Teheran but he gives them a safer bet to at least have a little bit above average season and pitch 200ish innings. Maybe they would value having a little more certainty at the #5 spot as they are definitely going to be in contention this year. Wood and Dejesus (and pay some of the money they are owed) for Delgado or Teheran? Also what pick(s) do we have in the Rule 5? Cubs are picking 2nd overall, just like in the real draft
