  2. Wow let's just go Te'o crazy, NFLN
  3. I feel so cold...
  4. Oh my god shut up NFL Network. Stop trying to will them to take Te'o
  5. SHUT UP NFL DRAFT GUY
  6. COME ON PHIL DON'T [expletive] IT UP
  7. Just please don't draft Te'o
  8. So Bears fans, who are you hoping for right now.
  9. hahahahahahahaahahahahaahahahahahahahaha fantastic
  10. http://cdn2.mocksession.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/04/ADAM-SCHEFTER.gif hahahahahaha
  11. Espn is the worst Yea thankfully a minute later my brain apparently woke up and realized NFLN has a draft show too.
  12. I somehow forgot that Berman is the human equivalent of ear cancer.
  13. Well if this ain't the most depressing day of the minor league schedule, I dunno what is.
  14. Yea. I feel you there. I think the Paniagua situation pisses me off the most just because it's only paperwork preventing us from seeing what he can do.
  15. Some observations on the day: Baez hitless, but took a walk. Hendricks finally found his control again. 7IP, 3 H, 1 R, 1 ER, 1 BB, 9K. Zach Rosscup managed to strike out the side in his lone inning of work. Liking his year so far. Still have hope this guy could be a quality reliever. Soler in a bit of a mini slump.
  16. On a depressing and weird note generally awesome international prospects guy for BA, Ben Badler, was apparently friends with one of the marathon victims. Figured I'd share his link to a charity.
  17. The cold weather could easily play a role in down power numbers in Kane County. Haha just came back here to post that. Gotta figure that's a factor.
  18. I'd be a bit surprised if they promoted Vogelbach or Shoulders in May. Especially Vogelbach.
  19. I pretty much agree with everything above. I definitely don't think Vogey's 1B:2B ratio is due to speed issues. Part of me wonders if his power drought is just the result of his making an effort to adjust to Low A pitching.
  20. Man they have been Daytona-esque so far this year.
  21. Fun with small sample sizes and organizational philosophies - for BB (batter) totals in their respective leagues: The Tennessee Smokies are 2nd with 80 The Daytona Cubs are 2nd with 73 The KC Cougars are 6th with 60
  22. Heh. Sounds like Goldstein (I guess?) and whoever wrote the Annual chapter that year weren't on the same page. Also I forgot how quickly and completely he fell of the map. Just 2 years removed he was completely out of the Cubs Top 10. Also, it's weird to think Donnie Veal was once our highest rated prospect.
  23. Dopirak was a legit prospect. 56th overall pick. And his season in low A was one of the top ten I've ever seen in the minors. And still never amounted to anything. My point stands. Yes, but Dopirak was at least talented enough to amount to something. Much better pedigree, projection, and potential to play an actual position in the field for Dopirak than Shoulders. Haha I'm not denying that Dopriak had a superior pedigree and that wasn't part of my original point. EDIT: Also, even though it's besides the point... Taking a quick glance back, it doesn't even look like he was that heralded of a prospect, even after his monster year. He profiled largely as a one-tool player, not that much unlike Shoulders.

  25. IStew just doubled home Watkins and essentially doubled his BA
