In March he was arrested in Miami for disorderly intoxication and resisting a police officer without intoxication. This is one of my biggest pet peeves in sports. You're in line to potentially make millions, how hard is it to not act like an [expletive]? You're young, you feel invincible physically, you have been coddled by organizations and hero worshipped by fans, and you suddenly have millions of dollars. Easy to screw up. On the other hand, the driving drunk thing in particular bugs me. 1) You've got the money to pay for a cab or limo any time you want. 2) most teams provide free rides for all their players. 3) you probably have enough influence with those around you to peg one of them to stay sober as the DD. Just use one of those, for crying out loud. Yeah even from a practical aspect, I just don't get it. Who the hell wants to have to drive when they go out?
