Wade Miller also moved to the 60 day DL. -
Sorry. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHA 35 pages for absolutely nothing, and Jones's trade value gets destroyed even further because everyone knows just how desperate we really were. I love the Cubs. Apparently, we weren't that desperate because Hendry didn't bend over backwards to get the deal done (he obviously didn't think it was fair).

That's probably the case or the deal is awaiting League approval.

I think the Dempster to the DL was speculation before the Jones story spread throughout the internet.

I've been listening all day and Ofman never said Theriot was headed to the MiL. He was stressing the opposite.

Yeah, but it has to happen tonight. The bullpen is overtaxed and it's unreasonable to expect that Lilly will pitch a complete game. They need another pitcher.

Something is going to happen soon because Hendry also said that Theriot will not be sent down. Jones' time may be really limited. Yup-with Lou's insistence that Pie will not be sent down, that only leaves Pagan and Jones, and with his versatility I'm sure management doesn't want to see Pagan down for 10 days at least. Yeah, I don't see that happening either. This might be it folks. Jones might be a goner by tonight. This could be a great day in Cubs History. Now if we can somehow get rid of Izturis.. :) I wouldn't be surprised if he was on his way out as well.
