    This worries me! I feel like Hendry will overrule some of the roster decisons (read Cotts).

    It means Lou has realized Cotts sucks. LOL, yes that's true! Cotts hasn't proven anything yet, I fear he will find a role (even a small one) in the bullpen.

    Yes, I love it! I think Guzman has earned a spot on the 25 man roster. Lou hinted to this a couple of days ago when he said Guzman had ML stuff... He still needs to show some improvement in his next start. I don't know what this means for Cotts.

    you have to admit that question would be pretty grating. I would ask it just to hear him make a butt of himself. That question had to hurt his pride. He was a Sox player and now a WS winning manager and he's still inconsequential, overall, compared to anything going on with the Cubs. He hates being in the shadow of the Chicago Cubs. Frankly, it makes me feel good! :lol:

    It's clear that Guillen is threatened by the thought of having Lou in town. Fielding questions about Lou "putting Chicago back on the map" must REALLY irritate him. :lol:

    i didn't get that commercial here but they must be trying to find a larger niche in the market. Chicago is largely a Miller Brewing market but Bud/Budweiser is also trying to get more customers here... Yeah, they're very clearly trying to attract Chicago drinkers, but I just don't get it. Old Style is NOT a Chicago beer. Goose Island is. But Old Style is very clearly brewed in Wisconsin. I just don't get it. It's just marketing. It's very similar to the Budweiser commercials that are narrowly tailored to the specific audience they are attracting; the city worker/factory worker/guy on the beach themes...

    Please tell me he really didn't say that. Oh my! Ya, Len made the point that with Sori you're just gonna try to live with the occasional errors because of what he brings with the bat and Wittenmyer went on to say that you can't overstate the importance of defense and went on to make that horrendous point. Did Len just stare at him with a "My Kent, how can you be so friggin clueless?" Honestly, Len sounded a bit startled, to me, by Wittenmyer's comments...

    Wittenmyer has made some ridiculous attempts at logic in the paper as well. He's only been on the beat a short time and I'm already tired of the guy!
