It wasn't that wild of a throw. It was pretty standard given the play. I agree, in fact if you were to ask Lee I bet he would tell you he should have caught it. He had to come off the bag to catch the ball. Don't blame Lee

too bad lilly became a little girl and couldnt pitch with a huge lead Ummm, that's not exactly the story line of the game. He wasn't good but the defense has been atrocious and the bullpen porous. Lilly gave up 7 hits and 2 walks (with only one strikeout) in 3.2 IP. No extra baserunners reached because of the defense... they advanced a bit more quickly, but they were on anyways. Lilly was pretty much terrible. I believe it was 7-2 when Aramis threw wildly to 1B on what should have been the third out of the inning. The defensive lapses have been costly.
