How do we feel about Jacque hitting 2nd? I was hoping that Murton would be our 2 hitter - ? I'm fine with Jones hitting 2nd when Floyd plays.

I just heard Floyd will hit 5th and DeRosa 7th so Jacque must be hitting 2nd.

Just for yucks, I was reading a preview of the Astros/Cubs series on Chron.com and I came across a horrible recap of Hill's game against the Brewers: Ronny became Roger This is all false: DeRosa had a 2 run homer and Izturis didn't have an RBI in the game. Don't they have an editor? :lol:

Ridiculous. "Zero mound presence"? "Act"? As if anyone would act like that on the mound artificially. Zambrano's comments were a little odd and not very polite, but Estrada can stick it as far as I'm concerned. I agree with him--we all know that Z can be rattled and we often predict his next meltdown--he wears his emotions on his sleeve. That's what Estrada is referring to with his "zero mound presence" comment. Z is going to have to back up these words next time he faces them. He should have picked his words more carefully; it's not like he's owned them (going into yesterday's game he was 7-7 with an ERA over 4 lifetime)...

The Cubs almost have to start Miller again; and I predict they will. The only other options are to stick him in the bullpen or release him. If Miller doesn't show improvement in his next start, they will probably consider other options (including skipping the 5th spot if necessary).

Unlike the other most recent pitching performances, Miller put them in a hole so he gets the prize! Although, it would have felt better to lose 6-4 (especially with 2 on and Lee at the plate in the ninth) so Eyre gets an Honorable Mention.

We have him, unfortunately he's batting Lead off instead of 5th. (and he's relatively cold) Nah, we're better off with Floyd, Barrett, or jones there. Soriano traditionally is not a good hitter with RISP.
