  1. This is a little bit frightening. Buckle down Z.
  2. Based on just watching all season it seems like our pitchers could be a little more effective with 0-2 counts, I might be overreacting here though.
  3. Z looks to be getting a little too comfortable. Time for a DP.
  4. If DeRosa keeps this hot hitting up hes gonna have some very nice numbers.
  5. At least you didn't hit the supported part of the wall...I'd take a hole before a broken hand.
  6. I'll take Zambrano meltdown for 200 Alex.
  7. Probably just testing the durability of the helmet.
  8. I have Lowe and Hendrickson as fantasy starters, hoping the Cubs make me wish I didn't. Also I predict Jeff Kent is attacked by an unidentifiable assailant this series.
  9. Ahh, if only this was mentioned as much as wins are overrated are. Seriously though, well not that serious, I'm holding on to this uber-optimistic thread that the Cubs just get hot in June and take the division lead in a 2 week stretch of awesomeness.
  10. Wins for pitchers are highly over rated IMO, as long as the team wins I don't care which pitcher gets credit for it and neither should they. Why must this be debated every time its mentioned. He got the ND for a game it would be nice to have gotten him a win for, simple as that. I don't think it has to be debated. It's common sense that wins are a team stat, and that starting pitchers only have a fraction of the control over them. It's the most overrated stat in the game. And no has said to the contrary. Why must it be mentioned every time? I think it's like a defense mechanism, people are so sick of the misconception about wins as a stat, they attack it whenever possible. Makes sense. It is a overrated stat that means nothing. You could be a great pitcher for the Nationals or some other offensivley plagued team, and lose because your team can't put a run or two on the board. The pitcher has only like 25 percent control over it. As long as they have the sparkling ERA, thats all that matters. Haha, yes! Explained again.
