either of them would have been out by five feet. they would be more likely to get hurt than get a hit there. Its beyond obvious that DLee/ARam wouldn't have beaten a play like that out, but as recent examples, that single of DLee's that landed right by the OOB padding in RF last night... most likely should have been a 2B. But again... I didn't bring it up to cause thread-consuming debate/argument. DLee didn't run that ball out last night because it was foul. At least, I thought it was. I guess I grew up differently... I was always taught to go hard - or at least as hard as my body/injuries would allow - until the ump told me otherwise.

Please, don't start. Hard to convey stuff on MBs/GTs. I don't take back what I said, but I didn't mean it nearly as harshly as it must read. But nonetheless... consider it dropped.

Grrrr... the baseball gods hate us. Those balls always hang up for the OFs, where as the opponents seem to drop in more times than not.

16 mph in from center field, according to game day. That's actually good news. Very good. we don't hit homers anyway, so might as well make it so Milwaukee has to work harder to get them. Winds Blowing In=Home Run Hitting Game Wind was howling out to start the game yesterday, so that should have = an offensive explosion, but got a close fought game with just 1 HR. Wind is blowing briskly in to start the game tonight, so that should mean = little offense, which will mean that the final score will end up double-digits to double-digits.
