    Weeks with SB, throwing error, now on 3rd.

    - 9 games left. - 3 3-game series; 1 H [PIT] / 2 A [FLA & CIN] - 1.0 game up on MIL; tied in the L column - Day off tomorrow and Monday / no days off left for MIL - 11 games left for MIL; a 4-gamer, 3-gamer, and another 4-gamer; 1 A [ATL] / 2 H [stL & SD] I'm gonna be off (vacation that starts tomorrow afternoon, goes through next Sunday), but I'm not sure how much I'll gonna be able to take of watching the Cubs' last 9 games [& keeping an eye on what MIL is doing]. These last 11 days of the season are gonna be "Maalox Mashers". Although, if the Cubs were to take 2 of 3 from PIT and ATL cound find a way to win 3 of 4 vs MIL this weekend, going into those final 6 games, w/ a 2.5 game lead, would be a bit easier on the ole ticker. GO CUBS!!!!!!!!

    I think he's hilarious to watch on TV. I love how he jumps from his seat, arms waving, and yelling stuff at the ump after he called a close pitch a ball, instead of a strike.

    Are they protesting that bogus out call in the 4th (was it?) when Phillips came off the bag well before getting the force out but was called out anyhow??

    Brewers are 9-5 in their last 14 games so they aren't exactly rolling over lately. All season long they have followed every strong streak with a weak one though so that may be good news for the Cubs. 17 games left for each team (before tonight's Cubs/Stros game); and we're all tied up. Its "sack up or shut up" time, for the Cubs & Brewers.

    Quick question... if Cards lose today and we can manage to take 3 of 4 from them this weekend... who will finish in 3rd place in the NL Central? StL or Cincy?? (CIN will be just 3 back of the Cards after today, if this current outcome holds)
