Worth checking out America West airlines also. I've gotten cheaper tickets to Phoenix on AW than on Southwest before. Also try ATA. Not sure about Phoenix with ATA, but I know they have a number of destinations in the southwest US.
fewer users browsing this thread than I would have expected. I wonder how many are out in Wrigleyville right now? I'm going to try to join them once this one is over (crossing fingers)
Not a single good AB, either. Wonder if he starts tomorrow? Hopefully Blanco starts the next 2 days to rest the regulars (if the outcome in Mil is favorable)
In addition to the outfield assists, we have seen a bunch of runners held at third because of his arm. I'm curious as to how many runs he actually has saved in total.
As it is right now, isnt there an extra day between games 2 and 3? I suspect that they would just use the extra schedule flexibility to avoid shifting the whole series back. Maybe just the first two games.
I'll be going to Wrigleyville to watch the game(s) at one of the bars. Any suggestions on the one with the best TVs/ viewing ability/easy access to the taps?
While the Cubs clearly blow right now, they have shown an ability to come from behind in games all season despite being shut down for the majority of it. This one is not over. As I say that, Hanley goes deep....sigh.
I've developed cap-tipping elbow? May need a few simulated cap-tipping sessions, likely starting with a towel? OK, I know, that sucked but it had been a while since there was any mention of towel drills around here...
