    From my experiences in STL it is pretty much a wasteland..... CLE is ok. It has the Rock N Roll HOF going for it.

    Having a major league ready change-up at this stage in his development is a very encouraging sign. Lets hope he can overcome the TJS.

    Well, Gammons seems to be wrong about 100% of the time too. Yeah, but Gammons is basically just a roving reporter. He hears stuff like we hear stuff, then he reports on it. He's not "in the know" with any team, excluding maybe Boston. I have read stuff that says some GMs will basically throw Gammons a bone for being a lifer in the game from time to time......But yes he really never seems like he has any breaking scoop.

    Thanks for stopping by, Bruce. What percentage would you give to this getting done? 50/50...better than 50/50? I think the chances are better than 50/50. Unlike the Orioles, the Padres must move Peavy. They'd also like to get it done before the free-agent market opens. It's pretty much in the Padres' court now. It all depends on whose offer Towers likes. Wait... better than 50/50 that he gets traded to the Cubs, or better than 50/50 that he gets traded period? It is 100% he gets traded...better than 50/50 he goes to the Cubs.
