  1. I'm sure this has already been discussed earlier, but why in the world isn't Theriot starting?
  2. Embarrassing. This team is an embarrassment to the city of Chicago.
  3. Oh, clutch double play. Bunch of overpaid...
  4. Should. Have. Left. Wuertz. In.
  5. I hate Bobby Howry and Scott Eyre so much.
  6. In little league. As well as Major League Baseball. I am an umpire for Little League. The coach told me that ties go to the runner. I said the batter has to beat the throw to first because there are no such thing as ties. Who is right? -- L.M.F. McClelland: That is exactly right. There are no ties and there is no rule that says the tie goes to the runner. But the rule book does say that the runner must beat the ball to first base, and so if he doesn't beat the ball, then he is out. So you have to make the decision. That's why umpires are paid the money they are, to make the decision on if he did or if he didn't. The only thing you can do is go by whether or not he beat the ball. If he did, then he is safe. [/i]
  7. Should've left Wuertz in. Come on Bobby.
  8. Welcome back to earth, Rich. I was holding out hope you were for real.
  9. Anyone else got a bad feeling Rich Hill's hot streak might've been a fluke? Just throwing it out there.
  10. I kinda feel like Peavy's just putting runners on intentionally to see how he does in different situations.
  11. How long till he gets picked off first?
  12. Fukodome is Japanese baseball player numberrrr one! You must collect them all and complete the primary main objective!
  13. Haha, David must really like his old team mates.
  14. I'm just glad I was at the game yesterday instead of today. :)
  15. We could leave the bats in the dugout. Wouldn't make much of a difference so far.
