  1. He's looked better then any of our starters lately. Not Rich Hill. But yeah Trachsel isn't getting hit hard, he's been pretty unlucky. Pierre, Penny, and Furcal smoked the ball Just cause Furcal didn't bloop the ball in there didn't mean they smoked the ball. I know but they were all hard hit balls 2 of them were ground balls, Penny's as gameday put it was a soft line drive. They weren't infield singles, but they weren't what I'd call smoked either. I'd say Trax has been remarkably lucky. A single turned into a force out, there was a stupid baserunning play to create a double play, and a runner was thrown out at the plate to save a run and prevent Jeff Kent from hitting with a runner on.
  2. At least we got Pierre at the plate... still, I don't like our chances nearly as much now.
  3. Man I was ready to be angry. Get Juan Pierre out and all will be good in the world.
  4. Anyone know what's up with Furcal's incredibly poor year?
  5. Hm... crap. I wouldn't mind pitching around Furcal here.
  6. Man, either the Dodgers offense is hacktastic, or Trax is inducing some ugly swings.
  7. Kendall's 105 OPS+ is really killing us.
  8. Man, we're really hitting a ton of ground balls. At least we tied it.
  9. Why do you type like that? Is it some sort of Haiku? The Cubs make me mad They screw things up way too much But I still watch them Uh... yeah.
  10. That was a great September, Prior and Wood were fantastic. sigh. Yeah they really were. Z was pretty great too if memory serves. I dont really remember how well he did. Although he started slow so that would make sense. I hope he kicks it in to end this year. Now that I'm thinking about it I might retract my statement. Z was terrible in the playoffs and I wanna say that the... "terribleness" started a bit before the playoffs due to a back injury of some kind.
  11. Penny's having a lot of trouble putting our hitters away at the moment.

  13. Until we get to the anniversary of the Cardinals series it'll probably stay that way unless we start tanking.
  14. We'll get a run or four, but I don't think this is the inning to get it/them.

Glad to see I wasn't imagining things! Check the second increment. I can usually read, I swear!
  16. Duncan was playing against righties anyways. Either way, you know more playing time for Ankiel/Donutman will hurt us. More playing time for Ankiel definitely won't hurt us. 1-0 Dodgers. :(
  17. I'm firmly on the Kendall bandwagon, but man does he stink at throwing out base runners. I know, this is a revelation.

  19. If the Dodgers are gonna score anytime soon, this seems like as good of an inning as any to do it. 2-3-4 hitters up. Granted, the first one is Pierre, but the other two are scaryish.
  20. Yes yes, we get it. LOL [player that makes out], LOL COBS [end of inning] Rinse, wash, repeat. We understand. Really.
  21. Fred, I mentioned a while ago that it seems Aramis seems to be drawing a lot more walks lately... any stats to back that up?
  22. I'll get it out of the way; why couldn't you do that earlier?!
