    And it's not even close. Sox fans have this weird online mobilization when it comes to this type of newspaper quiz. I really think they believe the results to be binding legally. WSI does it. It's horribly strange.

There's a bunch of Section 8 housing west of the proposed Golda Meier Stadium. Condemn it, send the people to the Wrigley Field Projects, and relocate the Wrigleyvile establishments in West Skokie. There's already a firehouse there. Hey you know who that would piss off? The scores of people who live in Wrigleyville and East Lakeview in general. Like me!     The one thing I'm happy with is trading Guyer, as I don't think his value is going to get any higher than it is right now.

    I'm not saying Lee will get another multi-year contract, but his down year last year was a result of a bad thumb. Now that he's healthy combined with playing in the AL and at Camden Yards, he could surprise a lot of people. Camden yards may help him but the AL East pitchers are much tougher than NL Central pitchers. Are they?

    Or bullpen. The only big hole he would leave is on the payroll, which is what you want. When he was healthy the last 3 years he wasn't even the 1-2 starter. Overpaid..unreliable..I see no reason to keep him. I only want minor leaguers back, not other bad contracts. Lemme guess, not enough wins? I'm gonna go ahead and save this thread the trouble of shooting down Benchwarmer every time he brings up wins for pitchers. Yes, he thinks they're the most important stat. Yes, he's wrong. No, he's not going to change his mind. Let's move on folks.

    I still think the 2004 team was the best team we've had on paper during the Hendry regime. Honestly I don't think that's arguable.

    This is my thinking. I tend to think Garza/Webb is an either/or proposition, and I'd much rather have the elite potential if I'm taking a bit of a gamble anyway. I don't see why they're either/or. A rotation of Z-Dempster-Garza-Webb-Wells/Gorz sounds pretty good to me.
