Can Lahey be traded? He can, but the team trading for him would have to keep him on the 25-man roster all year just like the Cubs would or else lose him back to his original team (Toronto, if I recall correctly). Remember, just last year the Cubs picked Josh Hamilton in the Rule 5 draft, then traded him to Cincinnati. Thanks for the explanation, I knew there was some restrictions in trading him.

I have no clue why they would say a fractured finger would heal in 3-5 days in the first place. I fractured my thumb last summer, I was out 4 weeks.

I thought he looked good, he did not spot his pitches the best. But, his velocity was good and had decent movement on breaking balls.

Ouch :( I was right there with you Flames, feels like getting kicked in the newts, don't it? Sure does. But right now, we're playing the best basketball in the conference with maybe the exception being Bradley. I still really like our chances in the conference tournament. I will not let myself get too high on this team, color me skeptical. Bone and Clemmon's production is just not consistent enough from the two spot for me to be happy with this team. It would be an amazing triumph to win the conference tourney with the way this season has gone.
