    All this talk about Cabrera. I love the kid, but where would we play him? I think he's too big and slow anymore to play OF.

    Well, its good to hear something halfway intelligent come out of Z's mouth. It was good to see him come back and pitch well too. I didn't think the fight was all that big of a deal, I actually thought it was good to see some passion out of this team. They are so severly underacheiving, something had to give. That being said, the fight never changed my opinion on trading Z. It just increased the liklihood of it happening in my opinion. I wouldn't mind trading him if we get good young players in return, but I guess I would say that about any of our vets, including Lee. We have to rebuild our farm system at some point. I'm sick of seeing teams like Atlanta bring up these kids that turn into solid major leaguers.

    No. Why not, he always gets on a base. Soriano doesn't get hot til late in the game. you are confusing me. Pie gets hits early in the game. Soriano waits til late in the game to get his hits. At least that is what I have noticed. I would rather have Pie in the leadoff spot. For his career, Soriano hits: .297/.350/.527 in innings 1-3 .282/.326/.538 in innings 4-6 .281/.331/.476 in innings 7-9 What is Pie hitting? He has his average up to .273. Any chance he'll get it up to .300 this game? That would be sweet!

FWIW, I will be buying nuggets before each game until we lose. Are they Wendy's nuggets? Those are the best. Yeah, they are... but I got out of class just as the game was starting and McDonalds was much much closer. Ah man, Mcnuggets tear me up. Oh well, here's to 2 cases of toilet paper and a division title!

    Last night they mentioned something about fireworks for HR's. Do they even do that there? They do. Saw it myself Monday night. That was the smoke from Lou's cigar. I forsee Z holding up to his promise, hitting 107 on the gun on the first pitch as his arm comes out socket and spins around like a pinwheel. The ball goes straight through Barrett's glove and rips his head clean off. The Cubs then go on to win handily. With this bullpen? Yeah, right. Gallagher baby. Bring out the Sledge-O-Matic.
