  1. Doyle with the YMCA left-handed hook shot, NU steals it at half-court on the third straight possession, and Wisconsin called for the foul. NU finishes on a 10-2 run and lead it 26-24 at the half. The halftime guys on Doyle's hook: -"He has been practicing that left-handed hook shot." -"Well, when you can't jump over the Evanston phone book, you better have something in your arsenal."
  2. Jeff Ryan with the steal, breakaway layup, AND ONE! Ryan misses the FT, but Moore grabs the rebound and will hold for the last shot. Tied at 24-24.
  3. Yeah, about those tickets..... I'm at work. Ouch. Did you already buy them?
  4. It'll be nice to have Manning Jr. back in the nickel. If he jumps a route and picks one off again, maybe he'll try to take it all the way this time.
  5. Sigh. This is going to be a repeat of the Michigan game. Can't convert any easy opportunities at the basket... Except that Wisconsin figured out that you can post up down low and score easily against this defense, something that escaped Michigan.
  6. Not once it's been sitting there, such as in a urinal. Then there's quite a bit of bacteria in it.
  7. Northwestern might be up more than 7-6 if not for the fact that all three of Wisconsin's baskets came from uncontested layups following offensive rebounds...
  8. McKie and Tillman were upgraded to probable, but Muhammad was added to the injury report with a hand injury. He is listed as probable, as well. Nobody missed practice.
  9. You can find a bunch of tickets on eBay. Not sure how many of them are refundable, though. They wouldn't go on sale through ticketmaster until after a win sunday.
  10. I'm not sure that warrants a "too." Medication maybe, but not "too." Congrats, though. Hopefully they release tickets like this for the NFC championship game.
  11. Congrats. What section? You can get a good view if you click this link and change the section # in the url.
  12. A lot of pairs out there, including 100 level, or at least there were an hour ago.
  13. I found at least one pair out there right now, not including some $375 seats.
  14. Unbelievable. I'd love to know what the hell is happening to this team.
  15. What lead? :(
  16. It took me a while to realize Monday is MLK Jr. Day. Wish I had it off. :( At least you can watch tonight. Although their 18 point lead is down to 8 just like that.
  17. Ouch. Keep trying tonight and tomorrow, though.
  18. Good start tonight at the UC. Bulls up on the Nets 28-15 after a quarter. WGN Superstation will have both the Saturday night and Monday afternoon games.
  19. Smart move. He is a natural UT, not NT. they have an nt... his name is ian scott, and scott needs to have a monster game this week. I'm predicting a Scott pass deflection for a pick on Sunday.
  20. No Bears missed practice today, as Brown and St. Clair were removed from the injury report. Only McKie and Tillman remain.
  21. Don't knock those end zone seats. I had a pair to the Buffalo game, and every TD except one was scored in my end zone. They wound up being the best seats in the house, bar none. Have fun at the game! Same with me, although I was in the north endzone in the 100 level. Awesome seats, especially since they were only $65. The only thing that was going to complete that game for me was a TD in the north endzone and that happened after the kickoff fumble recovery. Then they lost the shutout :(
  22. 40 yard line, to be exact. If I go and they win, well worth it. If I go and they lose, I'll really be kicking myself for not selling them...
  23. how the? I've been checking throughout the evening, especially at work when I had nothing to do. I came across two different pairs in the club boxes, but these were the first in the lower price ranges. Of course, tickets only came up like once every 30 attempts. How is this game not sold out? It is. Every once in a while, especially as the game nears, a few tickets (and I do mean just a few) get released because of orders that couldn't go through for whatever reason. I was able to grab a pair for the game in '01 the night before because they released some. Of course, it took over 45 minutes of trying continuously and not finding any tickets for them to come up.
