    You mean his .335 OBP and sub .800 OPS? His line is .288/.335/.463/.798 at the CF position. I'd say that's about market value for 12M a year. So Kosuke's contract is fair? He plays RF. And FWIW, Fangraphs lists Rio's value at $11.7M. He's also been slumping recently.

    Don't really blame them for giving Molina a standing ovation. Heck, I would have done the same for Kyle Farnsworth in his first Wrigley appearance after he beat the heck out of Paul Wilson. I guess I can't really blame them too much, but you just know the people there love to take any chance they have to try to prove they're amazing fans. Even if it means giving their punk catcher a standing O for fighting. I'm having a hard time from rolling my eyes. I hope he grounds into a DP here.

    I'm pretty sure its more of the Ringling Brothers forcing the UC to those dates than the UC telling them to come a different time. The Ringling Brothers circus has a schedule it locks in years in advance, so if the UC wants that payday they have to kick the Bulls and Hawks out a couple of weeks a year. Besides, they are going to a much better crowd holding these events in the Fall/Winter than in the dead of summer. I don't know a single person who goes to the circus.
