  1. What we learn in that video is that Sarah Spain is taller than both Mike Fontenot and Ryan Theriot.
  2. I think it was Jay Williams when he was at Duke You have got to be kidding me if you think that makes him dumb as a 3rd grader. Sure, the website hurts your eyes, but there's nothing really funny about it. I think it is Steve Blake's website that SouthSideRyan is referring to: http://web.archive.org/web/20021203022614/www.wam.umd.edu/~blakes/amst.html
  3. LOL, Reed's little popup drops in for a hit while Theriot's scorcher was run down.
  4. I know that. I'm saying that if his bat was not in the way, it probably would have hit him. And if my aunt had balls, she'd be my uncle.
  5. Hey, Escobar might have gotten a hit on the next pitch. You never know. Hypotheticaly, if the rest of the game goes the same way, and thats the only Braves baserunner, would they be able to overturn it and make it a perfect? I could see that not happening for the same reason they wouldn't go back for CC Sabathia's one-hitter last year — the "pressure" or whatever. It's kinda different ... I dunno if a player will feel signifiantly more pressure (if any at all) of a perfect game vs. a no-hitter. CC was between a no-hitter and a one-hitter. Very different.
  6. Hey, Escobar might have gotten a hit on the next pitch. You never know. Hypotheticaly, if the rest of the game goes the same way, and thats the only Braves baserunner, would they be able to overturn it and make it a perfect? No, and I'll hope Wells takes the higher route and doesn't become Pappas.
  7. Got Lilly tossed for a barely-inside pitch in 07, then elbowed Fontenot in the face trying to steal second. Wasn't that Renteria?
  8. Remind me why we hate Escobar again?
  9. Perhaps they have the most wins because they have the most teams, and most opportunity to win. Don't they also have the most losses? Who cares about a battle for 1st on June 1? The central has 2 crappy teams and 4 teams basically playing .500 ball the last couple weeks. Are you serious? The relation to wins and losses does'nt change if the division had 2 teams or 100. We have the most wins because we have won more games over the East and West.. And the other cental teams. I gotta figure you been up all nite or something. The win and loss % in the central is allways 50%....for every win there is a loss. Duh. We have more wins because of the games we play OUT of the division. Now go get some sleep! The 6 Central teams play more games in-division than other divisons. Case in point: In 2008, Central teams played 474 divisional games. The West played 360 divisional games. The conclusion is that Central teams are guaranteed 114 more wins than the West right off the bat, so the statement "We have the most wins because we have won more games over the East and West" isn't valid.
  10. I wish the Expos were still around. I loved driving up to Montreal for a weekend of gambling, drinking, strip clubs, and a cheap ticket to a sparsely attended major league baseball game. just wanted to say that strip clubs in Canada effing rule. Ok, curiosity got the better of me: Why?
  11. Is there a game going on? I thought I was watching a Manny roundtable discussion.
  12. At which point did Dempster's seriousness transcend the realm of that joke?
  13. How does a player go from being a top prospect to the bottom of the barrel when he is still in his prime? It makes no sense. You don't just "lose" talent like that.
  14. Really great Chicago Fire vs. Chivas USA game on ESPN 2 if anybody cares.
  15. LOL that's great.
  16. Hoffpauir hit it square, just bad luck. can't be too upset wtih that...
  17. Rally caps time! Instead of being all doom and gloom, let's cheer on our Cubbies this time!
  18. LeBron James ... that was ridiculous.
