    Pretty exciting stuff. A kid from my son's h.s. was called up the other day by the Yankees for his first go-around in the bigs, so that's been pretty exciting, too. My son went to a summer camp he did here a couple of years ago, it was cool.

    GREAT pic. That is my favorite SNL episode EVER. Jeter was just bad enough to be funny, but not so bad you couldn't watch it. They really had some great sketches catering to him .... good to see that pic.... wish I had that epi on tape.

    Man, I didn't see the game today, and didn't even know this. GREAT. This team needed this right now. I hope it's not serious. If there is any hope for the Cubs to come back to life, he will need to be part of it.

    Right. For many reasons I hope he comes back, but as far as his son, I have a feeling he'd be an asset to many teams and would be having his son in that situation either way, but I know what he's really saying... he wants it to be as a player, considering his age and all. I like him, too. I think when he comes back he will give it 110 percent ... he really wants to be out there, you know it, and this has all got to be the most FRUSTRATING thing in the world for him.
