  1. That's how I feel, too many holes in this team. There are issues with key injuries, shaky (at best) bullpen, lack of timely hitting, lack of general offense, and questionable defense. It's not a matter of wanting to jump ship, just wondering if you're even on a ship at all!
  2. A closet. Imagine a room about half the size of the part of the cubs lockerroom shown above. The cubs lockerroom has like a little kitchen and a weight room attached to it. The visitors does not. It's just a little square room. I didn't think the visitors was that bad. The Cubs' is rectangular, very narrow. The visitors' is more square. Not sure if you measured it the sizes are really all that different.
  3. My son and I did it a couple of years ago, and while I got it for free for a writing assignment, it's well worth the $25 they're asking. AMAZING, really. I've taken a few stadium tours, and this one is just so much more cool because of the history aspect. I think I've done the Diamondbacks and the Rangers. BEST by far, and not just because I'm a Cubs fan!
  4. Bob and Len seem to think Lou won't hold one. It wont be on tonight anyway because of the Blackhawks game That's why I asked, that's what I was thinking. Wasn't sure if they'd switch it to another channel.
  5. Then you haven't seen nearly enough Cubs games. I have. Guess the drugs are working, I can't remember them then.
  6. Am I out of line to think that this is one of the most painful Cubs games I've ever seen?
  7. See, it wasn't a walk, so party on Cubs fans!
  8. I wonder why Hendry loves this guy so much? It doesnt matter now, because his career is done. The only way Hendry gets Fox now is as a coach, because hes not coming back from that injury. I think his career is done, but this is the third time I've thought that. Fox will be back. He's that guy that just doesn't get it, and keeps coming back. As long as Hendry is in baseball, Fox will have a job. You think he'd start getting it. He might actually want to use that arm for something else besides baseball one day.
  9. Gotta see who the next Cub is to be injured If the remote was closer I'd change it.
  10. I wonder why Hendry loves this guy so much? It doesnt matter now, because his career is done. The only way Hendry gets Fox now is as a coach, because hes not coming back from that injury. I couldn't bear to watch any more, what happened to Fox? Did his arm finally detach? Basically.
  11. LOL, he was probably safe, thanks for the pity call, I'll take it!!!
  12. In a week then we should still be pretty close. Those two teams are pretty bad. LOL, you are watching the game right now, right? Yep. I imagine we look about as bad as we did last year when we played in September. We were awful, couldn't beat the reds. We still won 97 games. It's a 162 game season. There are going to be some crappy stretches. These games are the worst: no timely hitting, poor managerial decisions, poor pitching, poor defense, etc..... it's not just one thing. And the great thing is we play again tomorrow. I figured it would be a slow start. We have had no favor done to us with our schedule early. But the good thing is we already have two trips to Milwaukee and Houston done. That is good.
