  1. Yet again....we're going to see our team get perilously close to a win.....only to watch them falter.
  2. Yep, there it is. Time to go do something productive.
  3. Sigh. Here we go...another 9th inning loss coming up.
  4. Leadoff double, he'll probably end up stranded there.
  5. 1st and 2nd, no outs.....then 3 straight outs. Those are the Cobs we know and hate.
  6. get it right, hill's homer hit the roof of the building. sammy broke a window or 2 in his day, though. Remember when he tried to call time out to tie his shoe in Florida? The request wasn't granted and he literally runs back to the batters box, flops out the bat, and donks one into RF. Oh, that Glenallen. i remember him hitting a huge walkoff in 98 agisnt john franco and just dropping the bat like a toothpick. Wasn't it the wonderful CB Bucknor that wouldn't grant him the TO?
  7. WTF!! They're going to the Yankees/Sox game because of freaking A-Rod's AB? Freaking please.
  8. If you're talking about Aramis, not that many You must be joking. Aramis swings at just about every breaking ball on 2 strike counts, no matter what the location is. http://www.fangraphs.com/graphs.aspx?playerid=1002&position=3B&page=4&type=full You can check BB% and BB/K if you would like too. Doesn't matter whether he K's or not, he still will swing at bad 2 strike pitches and if he happens to make contact its usually weak and in the infield. Doubt you have stats for that. I could find them, but something tells me you wouldn't pay attention to them anways if they proved you wrong. Well, something's telling you incorrectly. Hey Einstein, if Aramis siwnings at just about every breaking ball on 2 strike counts, no matter what the location is he would not have the walk totals he does nor the K totals. Obviously, not all 2 strike pitches are breaking balls, so those can skew the reference you're making to his walk and K totals. Einstein.
